Behind the Music: Sam "Muzikman" Williams

In this project Behind the Music, I went behind the scenes with Muzikman Sam to capture the work and energy that goes into his craft. I attended late night studio sessions, design sets to capture portraits, and got to observe the spirit and persona of him as an artist. With my images I underscore the process and environment of this musician in order to tell their story in a way that is reflective of his experience. With candid portraits, I capture their authentic interactions from collaborating with other professionals to passionate on stage expressions. Through my images, I invite the viewers to go beyond the polished appearance of the final performance, and witness the dedication and commitment required to grow in this industry.
